I got this for my Grandma for her Birthday who lost her real Shih Tzu awhile back. She has mobility issues so I know she will never be able to get a real dog again, She absolutely loves it. I just know this will give her so much comfort and keep her company.

My 93 year old mother loves to pet her pretend dog. It gives her comfort and joy to have her little dog next to her on her couch while she watches tv. She has some dementia and she does realize that it is not a real dog, but it still makes her smile when she sits next to her “puppy”. It is totally worth it.
