Trekking The National Parks The Board Game

My 7 and 9yo boys like this game because it is competitive. They even like the complicated scoring. The goal is to gobble up as many stones as possible. Ironic, since when you actually visit a real park, you are not suppose to be taking stuff. So that’s my gripe. There is nothing in this game that reflects the joy of the national parks. No mention of trees or wildlife, no strategies for crossing creeks, no mountains to climb, just nothing that relates to a green planet.

Award Winning Game

I purchased this as a gift for my son who is an avid board gamer. He is pleased, so I am pleased.

My niece and nephews love the game. Can't wait until this covid19 thing is over so I can play with them.

Fun game.

This was the most complicated game. We read directions and watched video and still didn’t understand how to play. I thought this would be a great game since we have visited many national parks. However a waste of $50. Do not buy this game. Just donate the money to the national parks.
